There is an old Chinese saying, that I once heard from an old man sitting in a side walk cafe enjoying a Caffè Marocchino in beautiful downtown Barstow, California many years ago that goes:
"Everyone has to be some place."
Usually old Chinese sayings are a little more involved but it was a hot Monday afternoon and the old guy was on vacation from his job writing those cute saying you find in fortune cookies. He did tell me his favorite fortune cookie quip was, "Help! I am a prisoner in a fortune cookie factory!"
