Hang gliding is really popular around North Park and Colorado. I have often wondered why hang gliders wear a helmet but that is but one of the things I wonder in life.. No radio, no compass, or even a safety net. Total freedom to soar like an eagle on the thermals as they go up and down. At least until you fly into something like a hot air balloon...hidden by a cloud you are about to fly through.
